Current property tax website for 2024 tax due

Previous posted pagos website appears not valid anymore. Anyone know current website to find amount of 2024 property tax.

The 2023 didn't activate until AFTER the Jan 1st holiday. Expect the same for 2024.

The one I used last year has big warnings not secure. You can lose all of your information. Don’t open??

All this means, in this case, is that they haven't converted their website from HTTP to HTTPS. Same as last year and probably the same next year.

Ok. I put in the https in the website and it said beware. So I didn’t go any further. Will try in January.

I take these messages of 'danger' with a grain of salt. Similar to the US Gov messages to not travel in Mexico. Just because a site has https does not mean that one will be completely safe going there. Better than http, especially if using an 'open wifi cafe for your access', but not a guarantee of immunity from the bad guys.

When I try to pay online it just goes to a blank screen. Has anyone successfully paid online yet this year?

I just printed it and paid at OXXO instead. Easy peasy for both the Car Registrations and Land Taxes. Gone are the days of standing in line for hours......

You do need to have a Mexican Debit or Credit card to pay online.

Great. It wouldn't accept either of my Canadian cards.......I used my BBVA debit card instead.

My first time renewing my vehicle... do you not need a new wallet card (the hard to read one) like they print at the office, or is one provided when paying online?

The last cards issued a couple of years ago are good for 5 years. They just give you a paid receipt now which you download and print out. If you don't have a card or it is expired, you would have to go to the office I suppose.

Emailed payment voucher is not proof of registration as per Pat.

I just printed mine and it looks the same as in years past. It SHOWS the bank payment number (folia banco) on the recibo that corresponds to what Jalisco sent me yesterday when I paid via cc online.

fyi, I could not access it yesterday; I believe they batch process overnight. When I paid at OXXO in other years, it took 2 or 3 days for the final recibo was ready to print.

No, but after the payment posts, whether from OXXO or online, you go and print the final recibo which shows the folio de banco on it (takes a day for cc online, maybe 2 or 3 days after 3rd party pmts.

The online and in-store payment was instituted during the height of the pandemic and was specifically designed to keep people out of public buildings.

We carry the recibo from Jalisco (that AGAIN, shows the folio de banco) as well as our payment receipts whether from OXXO or sent to us by Jalisco a few minutes after they dinged our credit card.

This is what was immediately available to download when I paid. It certainly is good enough. I showed last years to a cop and he had no problem with it. I don't care what "Pat" says.....lol.

As long as there are gringoes who are totally intimidated and clueless and have no desire to learn, or unwilling to deal with any Mexican bureaurocracy on their own, there will be facilitators seizing the opportunity to do things for them. Nothing really wrong with that, unless they try to convince people that they couldn't possibly navigate the systems on their own.

The only time I ever used a facilitator was over 20 years ago, when I applied for my first FM3, because I was applying for an FM3 "lucrativa", starting my own business, and wanted to make sure everything was done correctly so it wouldn't be rejected.
His specialty was as an immigration lawyer, whose mother had worked for INM, and he was not at all a rip-off artist- his fees were quite reasonable and he was a really honest guy, which is often not the case.

Still getting blank screen. Anyone get through to online payment screen??

I recall that last year it was a few weeks into the year before that payment screen worked. I gave up and printed the invoice and paid at OXXO....lol.
