Another misleading food packaging tactic

Susan if the label doesn't tell one what is in the food the whole thing is
hopeless. This is flat out wrong and not an issue of walking away. If it
says NO preservatives it should be no Nitrates in it which is a preservative.
This is the kinda thing that kills people. Now you can't tell if the sweet is
from Modified Corn syrup or sugar. Years ago the US government Department
of agriculture took over Organic and modified all the rules so big business
could get into Organic and force out the small guy through price. An example
of this is Organic milk. Small guy has to depend on farmers markets and
such cause the stores don't care as long as it says organic and the price
is cheap. US government is guilty of letting Food in the country that was
not Organic come into the country labelled organic. This happened over
and over during the Bush administration. When pointed out to the Obama
administration that this happened they said that was wrong that that happened
but we are not going to do anything about it. People have been
made very very sick close to death as this happens when ingridients which
are not in the contents cause alergic reactions and such. USDA needs to
be shut down and reorganized as an government organization that protects
people not farmers and big business.
