Political discussion?

Hell, this sounds more like an elitist liberal love-in to me.

Dream on libtards. November's coming. Anyone notice that the tide's beginning to turn?

Get over it. Our life is here and it's apolitical. If you're there, too bad, so sad.

If we're here, and we're apolitical...why the hell did Oncesubtle start this thread in the first place??

I assumed it was to get our political juices flowing. What's funnier that that circus NOB? And it seems to get more bizarre every day!

"Get over it". Hell...I got over it a long time ago.

My only concern is that those S.S. checks keep flowing. If they should ever stop, I'll be the one telling you too bad, so sad!

There is a certain hilarious inconsistency in that, considering that Social Security arrived in 1936 while the country was staggering from the Great Depression. At the time, it was touted as a kind of "extra" to one's own savings for retirement, and was powerfully opposed by those who called it "Socialism" and hated FDR with a passion unsurpassed until the election of the Mulatto in Chief.

So......our Rightie amigos........let's hope you can carry your own retirement without it.
Well, you may have to give up a few outings.

Goatrope and his fellow travelers won't be the only ones foretelling the demise. Any fool can see the Empire sinking.

Gringal:

Yesterday at 2:59 p.m., you posted that I like "Texas racial slurs about the Prez".

Today in your eloquent lecture about S.S. in 1936 you refer to the Prez as "the Mulatto in Chief". Was that a faux pas, or a racial slur? Close call!

Yes, FDR was branded a "socialist". Well, I got news for you.

James Carville, you know, the ranting ranking liberal on CNN, and his partner apparently run a polling service. They announced last week that over 55% of Americans they polled believe that "the Mulatto in Chief" is a socialist.

Another liberal bastion, MSNBC recently polled their audience about their approval or disapproval of the proposed AZ law. They got quite a shock. Of the 3 million respondents, 95% were in favor of the law.

You're right about "the Empire sinking". But it's temporary, and in spite of our present government, it will survive.

[quote="goatrope"] "...why the hell did Oncesubtle start this thread in the first place??"

Oncesubtle started this thread because Oncesublte wanted to start this thread and his question was: Does anyone have any evidence of a U.S politician who is not corrupt?

"I assumed it was to get our political juices flowing."

And that's the problem with assumptions.

Short Answer: Neither. It's called sarcasm.
Barack Obama is an intelligent man who I respect for his accomplishments in life. Few of us deserve equal credit for ours. Some people just can't deal with his skin shade, period. Their problem. Next time around, if the democratic process doesn't fail, you may get a while male such as George Bush or even a female of Sarah Palin's caliber. Enjoy. Win some, lose some.

I'm surprised that "el cabron" doesn't like the quote by Heinlen, who was rather right wing in his thinking. That, however, did not prevent him from having some very good ideas.

Vote for the person, not the party. Be a man, not mutton! Rolling Eyes Lizzy
