Tony Updates You on His Surgery

Juan Pablo drove me in to Guadalajara Monday and we picked up Gustavo, who will be my plasma donor. We saw the cardiologist at about 10 AM. He reviewed all the donors and gave Gus an order for donation. We were informed that I would enter the Centro Medico on Monday and that the surgery would be Wednesday. I was a little disappointed, but hey.... you don't argue with the head of cardiac surgery!
Out of all this two odd coincidences occurred .... First the Dr. asked about my connection with Memorial Hospital in Modesto CA. I think the doc knows how to use Google, but the only connection I could remember was fundraising and donations the family had made from time to time .... the second is the father of my plasma donor, Gus, is my age and lives just up the block from where we lived in Chapalita. Heck I probably knew him.
Weird huh?
