Not having been outside of Mexico before while on an FM3 we are unsure of the customs procedures when we re-enter the country. I assume we do not fill out the FMM on the airplane. Is there another form we fill out? Once at the airport do we get in the line with the tourists or the line for the Mexican citizens?

Fill out the FMM. Get in the line for non-citizens. Keep the stub.

Do not fill out the FMM handed out on the plane.

Instead, you simply present the other 'half' of the stamped FMM that was given to you by INM at the airport when you departed, along with your FM3 card and your passport.
