I took that drive thru Cuautitlan up to Cuzalapa the other day to get the "best" coffee in Mexico ... not sure why the video was there

Down on the coast not far away, Cihuatlan is asking for Federal help but more gentrified than the country folk and not asking to have armed militia. Getting a bit scary here as well

It would seem then that Pena's plan to introduce a new 40,000 person strong Army force, based on the Gendarme model, used successfully by the Carbineri in Italy and the R.C.M.P. in Canada, is a good bet. Also acutely sensitive political wise. These are the friendly, neighborhood soldiers who fight crime, kiss babies and solve domestic emergencies. As long as they don't have to sing, like the unfortunate Canadians, it should work out great. Pena says they have been spending too much time and resources on the cartel vermin.

Yeah, things have gone from calm to chaotic in the past 2 weeks. Not cool at all.

Had a neighbor used as an example this weekend. Small time drug dealer. Had the Wake Sunday and took him to home town in Guerrero yesterday. Will spare you the details ... but they meant business. Very sad

Thanks Sparks, once we get there we don't even drive at all. I don't generally drive at night in Mexico anyway.
