Passport Photos

A friend needs to renew his passport. We will all the forms online. Where can he get his passport photos taken?

At the photoshop on the main drag in Chapala about 2 blocks past the plaza on the east side. There is a big plastic cow statue in front of it. Sorry I don't know the name.

We used the cow place in Chapala also.

if you're canadian,i gave here the new instructions for passport photos which can include glasses now. just in case she didn't photocopy them take a copy with you

For which country? If your friend is Mexican, they take the photos at the office where you renew.

For the USA renewal. Do any of you know which form he should download off the travel.state.gov site.

We had the photos taken at Guadalajara farmacia in Chapala. It cost a whopping 25 pesos.

Off to LCS in the morning to meet the consulate officials and start the renewal.

The US Consulate is NOT at LCS tomorrow because of the May 1st Labor Day holiday.

They will be there on Wednesday, the 8th.

I don't know if there is a difference with the ones for the U.S., but I got my "official" photos taken at Guadalajara Pharmacy; they are on quality photo paper and never questioned. And they are cheap. Done in 3-minutes.
