Manager wanted for lakeside house.

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who has returned to Canada. He has full-time renters in his Lakeside house, they'll be here for the next two years.
Friend need a manager to handle the day-to-day business of collecting rent, supervising repairs, etc.,
I'd appreciate any recommendations for a mature, reliable, manager who speaks English. Gracias.

Here is a resounding NO NO NO for Chapala Property Management.

Try one of the established property groups, Ajijic Rental with Continental Realty or Roma Rentals or SarahSueRentals or Eager. Just about all the agencies have english speaking managers.

Also ask around a bit there are several private managers who hold smaller portfolios of properties.

Roma Mgmt is very responsible and reliable.

Out of curiosity, why the negative for CPM? We've used them for a couple of years with good results. Wondering if there's something we're missing.

I don't feel as though I need to tell you anything negative about him at Chapalapmc.com just that I wouldn't use him for business reasons not personal and there are many better options.

It is rare that I am negative about a business. I give the opinion of a poster the weight it deserves considering their positions on topics over the years. I expect most of you do too.
