Multiva ATM

That is my bank and the only ATM that I use. Went this morning to have enough money to pay my gardener and just got a call from him that a 500 peso note from the Multiva machine is a forgery, as he went out to buy a mother's day present for his wife at two different locations and it was refused. He is bringing the 500 peso note to me tomorrow and I will replace it with smaller bills and take all of the 500 pesos notes that I received this morning into Multiva on Monday. My guess is that I have more forged 500 peso notes. Will let you know what happens, but I would stay away from the Multiva ATM for a few days until this is sorted out.

Yikes, I often see them checking 500 peso notes for forgery but aren't sure what they are doing. Anybody know how to check?

Speaking of money I have oodles of old Mexican money coinage, some silver and bills. Are they worth anything? I will have to get them out of the safe in Tx and take a look I will post back at a later date. Dates are from forties fifties and up to the sixties. My Dad said they would be valuable
. There are some really old gold coins also. He was a collector He also had stamps.

When I get to the paintings I will see who painted them as I just don't remember.

Some of the stores have use what looks like a blacklight to check the authenticity. Also, I see at some stores they fold it and wipe it on a piece of white paper to see if it rubs off ink (I think it is supposed to rub off ink).
