HOSTERIA del ARTE Restaurant

Wednesday night we are ate at Hosteria del Arte Restaurant.  We had Caprese Salad (fresh mozzarrella on top of roma tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic), enough for 2 as a minii appetizer.  I had a very simple Spaghetti Pomodoro (red sauce - no meat).  It was good, but bland.  I prefer that to overly spiced.  My partner had 4 cheese Ravioli with Spinach, about 6 good sized ravioli in a white sauce.  All the pasta dishes were 85 pesos.  For dessert we had Bluebell Pistachio ice cream.  Good, but no comparison to our homemade ice cream.

They were doing quite well at 8:00 PM. The owners are very nice.  The service was excellent.  We recommend it.

I hate it when you do these reviews and you don't say where the places are!

There have been multiple threads on this restaurant over the last few months.  Just look.  Hint:  you might try looking in the Food and Drink forum.

What David said is correct, but just for the record.

Just east of the Pemex in La Canacinta on the mountain side of the carretera.  Formerly the office of a vivero (nursery).

spot - sometimes you have to look around yourself, just like I did when I was a newbie 12 years ago.

1st rule:  Appreciate that the reviewer took the time to write the review.

We have eaten there a few times.

Always good food, and excellent service.

Possible swarm?

I thought the owners were very nice and pleasant and that the young waiters/waitresses were very efficient.
