they keep stealing water from the dog dish too.

apparently you have to call the bomberos to get rid of this. our usual exterminator told me this.

Pretty small one compared to mine.

I had one removed. My gardener called the Bomberos and they came and looked at it. They decided what time they would come back - dusk just before dark and they did and removed it. I gave them a tip - it was very close to my front door.

I guess I could have made that a bit more clear but bringing a smile to someone's face is always a good thing. If I knew how to post the pics I took I would put them on this site. But alas I am not that great with computer stuff.

Bee colonies, if left alone, will soon relocate on their on.

The photo is not of a bee colony; they are black wasps. Wasps are pollinators too, like bees, so generally I leave them alone unless they are close to the house entrance, etc.

we had one like this blow down in a high wind and the wasps wreaked havoc with our dogs who of course had to immediately upon it's landing get right on it. i put a bucket over it as soon as i could and then lifted one side and sprayed the crap out of it. no thanks! won't be leaving it alone.
