Verizon phone service in Ajijc

Does anyone down there have a US Verizon phone that receives/makes call to US, as if you were in the US. I know that AT&T works done there, did not know about Verizon results. Thanks:38: 

When we last had Verizon phones - no problem using them in Mexico but expensive without a special plan. I believe that phones from all the major carriers do work in Mexico? When you get to some of the fringe carriers and the prepaid carriers, you will probably have problems.

Yes we do. We have the "Mexico" plan. 50% in Mexico and 50% to US.

@sunshineyday, is reception good in Ajijic?

We've had the Verizon Mexico plan for four years and have had no problems with call quality at Lakeside.

We also have no problem. Have had a Mexico/Verizon plan with 950 minutes per month. Have never been hand slapped for using it more in Mexico than the U.S. Works great
