Colima - Comala accommodations? Empty Colima - Comala accommodations?

Any recommendations for a reasonably priced room in either Comala or Colima? We prefer Colima and near the downtown for walking around and sightseeing, but it's not an absolute. We will be driving so parking is a must.

How about restaurant suggestions too?

Inexpensive w/parking is the Merced on the first plaza.   Courtyard section is cool but rooms noisy

Ceballos on main plaza - quite a bit more

I second the Merced. Clean, parking, easy walk to the main plaza. Another place about a block away is Hotel Americas (or something like that). A little bit more expensive, but has a restaurant. Definitely compare rooms at check in.
