I wonder what it's going to take to get that cigarette smoke odor out of there? It's been marinating in it for many a long year.

Good location, though.........and glad to see it will be open again.
Good luck, Chillin kids!

No more than it would have taken to get it out of every other restaurant and bar in town.

You seem to forget that smoking was everywhere here only 5 years ago........ Smokealot

OK, well I don't want to get off topic.

This new restaurant will be great and worrying that it will "smell like smoke" seems preposterous......IMO

We ate a Baby Chillin and asked hours of both Baby and Papa Chillin. Baby Chillin will be open at 12 until about 8 or so and Papa Chillin will be open at noon until 9 or so, so both locations will stay open.

They had their big Grand Opening yesterday. The turnout was excellent. The place was packed. As usual they were inundated with first day problems. They probably should have had an unofficial opening several days in advance to work the bugs out however I'm sure they will get things right in no time. The menu is unbelievable.

It would appear that their whole concept of 3 restaurants (and partners) didn't work out. They have closed the small one, taken over the big (new) one, and changed the name (and menu) back to Jus Chillin. These kids don't stand around awaiting failure. It must have been quite apparent in the first few days that it was never going to work. They will be open Monday - Saturday. 12:00pm to 10:00pm. Starting tomorrow.

When I first read about the menu, I thought it was way too big a bite to chew, and am glad to hear they are switching to something more do-able. Here's to them!

My guess: No little Chillin, no vast Poppa. Reverting to original concept when they were open before. Basically a Mexican menu. Probably a practical plan, but we'll have to wait and see, like Bob suggests.
