Two Canadians, one Italian, one Colombian killed in Mexico shooting in Playa nightclub

Another tragedy. Not good news for Playa/Cancun.

I heard it happened in Playa del Carmen, at least an hour south of Cancun.

So. It was a hit. Possible lack of payment or gang/cartel dispute. Shooter makes his hit, and crack hotel security tream fires off 16 rounds in a crowded nightclub killing 4 others and injuring 15 while the original shooter walks out and disappears into the night in a taxi. Right?

Sure sounds like that is how it went down.

It is also being reported that a Mexican woman was trampled to death.

American killed, too. A young woman from Denver.

There's something else going on in Cancun now. I saw something brief about 5 shootouts around Cancun. Haven't had a chance to verify.
