You still need a mop and bucket even if your roof is sealed watertight 'cuz sometimes it comes in under the door or around the window seals. Just in case, you need a selection of colour co-ordinated towels (to go with said bucket and mop) which will stem the flow when ya just can't mop it up fast enough. :)

What I SHOULD be doing is walking over to Mario's to see about next week. But, alas, it's hot and there has been a cohete set of every minute for the last 20, HIJOLE! Dog's under the bed. Later, when it quiets down I'll go. Stay tuned.

OK, is this what the typical rainy season looks like here? It is getting a bit chilly and gloomy for my taste. Christ, I am almost looking forward to be visting Vancouver in 3 weeks as their weather is finally nice.........jaja.

We do love the green but not the clouds. I suppose a "summer vacation" will be on the menu for us every year.....

That is apparently a myth CG. While it has indeed been raining primarily at night, the last couple of weeks have been mainly cloudy during the day with intermittent sun and rain. By god I actually wore long pants on a couple of occasions and that is just not right......jajaja.

It is a little cloudier than usual at least for most of the past 5 years in my recollection. However, June of 2010, that really wet year, was almost continuously cloudy from the start of the rainy season into July. OTOH, it really filled our lake up.

By the numbers, this is a normal year.

Once you’ve have lived here for a while, my son, this change in seasons are appreciated, it’s just you’ve been so cold for so long you’re still just thawing out. And for you this will also pass.
