A row between a spam-fighting group and hosting firm has sparked retaliation attacks affecting the wider internet.

It is having an impact on popular services like Netflix - and experts worry it could escalate to affect banking and email systems.

Five national cyber-police-forces are investigating the attacks.

Check out the internet traffic report for Europe, it's really crazy. Spamhaus says some servers are bombarded with up to 300 gigabits per second and adds the average government's internet infrastructure would be destroyed in an instant if it were targeted.

In case you wondered why Youtube vids or your favourite website were loading so slowly as of late, there's your answer... Surte

Halk the planet, there trashing us... lol I degrees

Saw this on the BBC last night. This is what governments should really be scared of (well and north Korea). The new face of war does not have a face. He who controls the money, controls the world. The solutions as I see it is ether do a better job of securing the individual PC (bot’s) or get away from a electronically supported economic structure.
