There is an x-detective, his name is Elias Camacho, owner of E.C Repatriation Services. he is also a retired special agent for the The National Insurance Crime Bureau,and acts like a bountyhunter for cars. You also re required to report it to Aduana within 5 days.

Assuming foreign plates the law says you must report it within that time frame.
