South Shore Weather Station

A weather station has been set up on the south shore so comparisons with Steve's weather station are now possible. I have decided to release a link to the setup and testing data now as my chief website programer is down with a broken femur and just can't do any serious work for a month or so. Who gets the most amount of rain this time of year is just too much fun to pass by.

Hmmm, just an aside, but why would a broken leg put a techie out of service... 

can't kick the equipment to get it going again.

I know this is all in good fun, but to be a bit serious, these folks are running a bootstrap operation in a "foreign" country and this is serious when one of the partners has a serious medical condition taking her out of the mainstream. Ellen, or LN, apparently underwent surgery for a broken leg and is laid up, so give them some slack, they provide hosting for a number of sites you'd recognize and this is a great service at their cost to tell us more about the S shore we all look at every day.

I can't believe anybody would not want to wish them all the best in this endeavor and a speedy recovery from the serious mishap.

you have obviously never heard the old saw about "humour being the best medicine". good grief! in addition-they don't need any "slacks" as i am sure they have their own.

We "all look at every day"??? Why would you think this weather station is just for you folks all cluttered up on the north shore?? Those of us on the south shore will get the most out of it, and we just look at you (not nearly as scenic I admit)...

Wow.. that was a wet 24 hours on the south shore. In the last 24 hours we had 42 mm of rain.

good to see the rain falling, but the level of the lake is still falling. a worrying trend so early.

LOTS of rain up on the north shore also.  About time we got some rain. Wishing your partner well. A friend broke his femur in Jan. and it's no joke!

Lots of rain in Guanajuato as well. Just got back from there and the weather was miserable.
