When you arrive here, do you plan to do the fm3 notification to Aduanas on your own, or through Spencer?

I'll leave that to my wife. My understanding is the TIP was issued for up to 6 months and vehicle must be removed to get refund of most of the deposit within that time frame. I am permanente, and we plan to spend less than 6 months per year @ Lakeside so we will probably not get her permanente so I can drive our car in Mexico/to and from the states.

Like everything in Mexico, this surely will change.

We received our TIP @ Noon today. It was sent DHL from Banjercito in Mexico City, July 30. According to documents we must scan and send a copy confirming receipt to: itvnet@banjercito.com.mx

I believe the cost for this service was 500 pesos, as opposed to stopping at the border and going thru the on site order process @ N/C.

The Aduana Permiso indicates day of entry and export date......180 days or less to receive full deposit refund.
