NEED SIM CARD ASAP

I had made arrangements for Pedro's lovely wife to send me a SIM, when she made her trip to Vegas on Sunday. Unfortunately she is having medical issues and cancelled trip.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, and remuneration plus lunch would be immediately forth coming.

The card is now at Pedro & Yvonne's in Chapala. Hoping to leave Alberta on Nov. 6 or so. Thank you Yvonne for your efforts, and best wishes for a full and rapid recovery.

Why not have Pedro send it express mail or courier, directly to you from Chapala??

I send express mail to Canada and it gets there in 5 days. That costs $60 pesos. They probably even offer a guaranteed service for a few more pesos. I do all this at Mailbox Etc. in San Antonio.

Bob, I am confused, when I send express from Mailbox etc. it cost me around 60.00 U.S. and it arrives in one day maybe 2 days.

Am I confused?? :)

Nope, I send documents to my bank on a regular basis. Express mail is 60 pesos ($5 bucks). I believe you are thinking of a courier service. This is the mail service.

Federal Express and similar services for letter-sized mailers typically cost in the range of 60 to 70 US dollars for 1 or 2 day service. Express mail service takes longer and costs less.

Yes, a lot less. It typically takes my stuff 5 days to arrive in Vancouver but no guarantee. I believe they also have a guaranteed type service.

Well, I'm not leaving til the 8th or 9th, so should be here.

I think in order for the sim card to work they have to register it or something. I know they had to get some info from my phone and they called it in so getting it sent to you could be fruitless.

sorry-gotta take y to hosp. today. more pressing things this week than yer sim stough. maybe bob can get it from us and do the mail thing?
