They are both men of peace....shows you can come at it from different angles.
Sorry Perry for dragging your thread and you into the likes of the Pope and the Dalai Lama. Now I'll probably have to say a few "Hail Mary's".

The shills have made it so you need a reservation anyway to get in and if he goes Tango style you'll just have to wait out in the street.
His first franchise is going to be in Tucson....were you in the bidding war for it?....and now the sour grapes because you didn't go high enough.
Maybe he'll consider a second establishment up there.

You're being facetious about the crowds, I presume. I pass Perry's on the way home from doing errands several times a week and it's a rare day that I see more than one or two diners in there. Since the whole front of this converted garage is open to the street, it's easy to take it all in at a glance.
I think the shills must be relatives. However, the takeout Pizza was an inspired idea.

Re: perrys pizza
Maybe blurred, double vision and cataracts explains the crowds, but the parking isn't there, in either direction, so I assumed they were having pizza.
Now I doubt you can see upstairs where the discerning clientele go to enjoy the vista, cool breezes, and the aroma of the pizza oven which is the main attraction, and people walking or driving by, can't identify you for legal purposes.

Re: perrys pizza
My former cataracts were a godsend, in a way. After the surgery, I could see all the bad facelifts and the funny colors on the "refreshed" buffets.
Cool breezes? Near a pizza oven?

Well we hope you found your cheese at least. Say hi to everyone on TOB for us.
Re: perrys pizza
Stopped by to pick up my Friday pizza at Perry's.
Had my usual beer and chatted with Perry and Josh.
It was a good thing that I have a reserved table there, or else I may have had to test the delivery system.
Perry is loving this thread.

I make my own from the frozen Costco boxes of four, each just itching to be augmented with top quality cheeses, pepperoni from italy, Spanish olives and fresh mushrooms. I like 'em better than what I've had "out there". Toscana's used to be good, but they had an "attitude problem" after the owner's temper suffered from excess stress, I guess.
Pepperoni doesn't exist on Italy.

Me? I must admit that that's an interesting correlation, Jim, although this thread appears to be Pedro's (a shill for Perry?) fault (for which I'm grateful).
