Honestly, I was just trying explain that the filete sandwiches (Forest Grill), didn't/don't always have to be the small end of the beef tenderloin strip, i.e., filet mignon.
Now, I'm going to hang my head in shame and see if I can quietly and SURREPTITIOUSLY sneak out of here.....to the land of Beer and lol!

In Ireland, we have fox filet, right after the hunt...... if the hounds don't get it first.

I used to LOVE the fish fillets at Micky D's! Also, their Sausage McMuffin with egg and those hash-brown-like patties. Now, there was some delicious food-like substances. Beer

SueGarn's information regarding the location is incorrect.  It is on the mountain side of the caraterra but is west of Yve's and Dental Express.

From Ajijic centro continue west past Yve's and cross over the next corner.  Forrest Grill is the 2nd  place on the right.  It has a big sign but the truck and tables are set well into the property.

If you pass the nursery you have gone two places too far.

Shana, quit taking this thread off-topic! I had a total of 4 fish fillet sandwiches at MacDobald's when I was in California last month and loved every bite.

Oh yeah....mystery food at Mick D's. Ate it when I was on the road and decent restaurants weren't open. I lived through it anyway and actually enjoyed some of it.
Meanwhile, driving past the Forest Grill's location Friday, I admit that it's easy to miss it. They could use a better sign.

Good day...

I'm Emmanuel Chef of Forest Grill

As some already know Forest Grill is undergoing renovations this week and we hoped to have our Grand Opening this Monday, August 14, but for some situations we will have to postpone the Grand Opening.

The opening will be on Friday, August 18.

We hope you can apologize and we can count on your presence.

Thank you so much.
