Good day. Is a subscription to the Lake Chapala Reporter worth the money for an outsider looking to stay current, or are there better options?

No, it is a horrible source for information. Better English language rags are Guadalajara Reporter and Mexico News Daily.

LCR is about the very worst source for news. I wouldn’t take it if it were free.

LCR is a scam perpetrated by a local grifter. Do not waste your money.

Very true Bob. When I first came down Inside Lakeside was a wealth of information.
And even after 8 years if I'm looking for some information on something specific this is where I head, and also if something is happening it's a great, fairly-immediate source.
