Telmex Internet down today

So I have Telmex internet for my main supply, but i would like to get another internet service for back-up. i do not need television or even landline phone. just internet.

Which service and what package would you recommend for reliability and good service?

We have TotalPlay as our main internet and use TelMex as our backup. We had ILOX since they started here, but over the years they became less and less reliable. Ajijic Centro.

I have TotalPlay. Very happy with it. I have the 300 MBPS plan which is around $700 per month.

If you have Telmex fibre right into the house, it is a huge improvement and much more stable than Telmex DSL. I still don't have access to Telmex fibre in Riberas del Pilar but I am over the moon happy with TotalPlay. Extraordinary speed, reliability and service. I also tried iLox and gave up after two years.
