Flight Connection Assistance Services - MEX
In September my wife is flying, by herself, to Europe. It'll be a GDL -> MEX -> LHR transit on two separate tickets.
She'll need assistance navigating the connection in MEX, which includes picking up her checked bag and re-checking for the flight to London.
I've found four different services that provide transit assistance at MEX. Prices vary from $360 US to over $1000!
Has anyone used any of these services?
Thanks,
Don

The airlines offer special assistance for passengers that require help. I usually arrange for that when I book my ticket however you can call them and notify them that you require assistance and when you check in at the counter they will verify with you the exact details. It’s a free service offered by the airlines however it is customary to tip the porters that assist the passenger.

Typical right wing myth. Most people prefer to work than to sit home on their butt all day.
Meanwhile there seems to be a whole lot of retired Americans here getting stimulus checks. Isn't the idea of those that they were supposed to help stimulate the US economy during a pandemic? So what have you been spending yours on?

Lemme see now. Pandemic has been going on for over a year and many planes were grounded during that time. No planes equals no need for porters of any kind. DUH! Do you really think the porters didn't go and try and find other jobs if they were able to do so? How about the stores in airports? The concession stands? The ticket agents? The pilots? The flight staff? The maintenance guys for the aircraft? The fuel supply people? etc. etc. etc. And that's just ONE industry.

My daughter who works for Air Canada has been laid off for over a year now. Fortunately she found another job to tide her over until she is called back.

Perpetuation of the narrative.
My son can’t find work because companies are lowballing the unemployed. They know thousands of skilled workers are wanting to get to work so they are offering much less than they normally would. The only labor shortage are those earning minimum wage because they are getting more from being unemployed.
