GDL Airport Construction

This from FB news page. My guess is that by "passenger filter" they mean one of the entries thru security??

Yes, we just flew out on Wednesday, and the security area up the escalator, which leads directly into the duty-free shops and then the B gates, was closed. The airport had extra people working the other security lines and they went smoothly during the 5:00 am rush.

Yesterday, around 10:00am, the big downstairs security area was closed and boarded off, although passengers in wheelchairs were given access through a small passageway.

The usual upstairs security was open and someone was overseeing passengers getting on the escalator. Passengers were asked to put on a mask before stepping on the escalator but probably >95% of everyone in the airport was wearing a mask already.

The INM office was operating as usual.

Not been to GDL for a while so I was surprised to see all the construction on the outside parking area.  Because of this, the multi-story parking garage was packed and attendants were directing traffic to the upper floors.
