Why would you want two boxes? The standard modem comes with four slots for wired connections and a wireless,

Maybe he doesn't know how to share wireless. I used to share mine with an upstairs apartment and they contributed 200 pesos a month. Have you tried Yahoo Phone. Works fine for me and needs no box

I have never gottn yahoo to work well, and my magicjack does not work well. Vonage has always worked. I have his wireless number off of his box and am using his wireless as we speak, I just have to have an internet box in my house, to hook up vonage. I don't need a local phone.

I have extra 'boxes' .... old Telmex non-wireless. But you would have to run a network wire from his to yours. I would ask Rod at Laguna Net if there is a client mode wireless router that will pickup his signal and you can plug into.

You need a decent set of headphones for Yahoo Phone to work

Just reading about it on the Internet and setting it up is a kinda geeky thing to do ... so if you are not tech savvy be prepared to pay someone to set it up. Many wireless routers won't act as a client
