Canada is talking about closing its borders to international travellers. I imagine if you hold a canadian passport they will let you in under quarantine however if they block all international flights there would be no way to get there.

We are in shutdown here in sunny Jacksonville, FL. My wife and I tried to buy water and TP and there is none to be had anywhere. It is really wild. Schools, libraries, churches, public venues, all closed. They are also considering a ban on restaurants and bars. Limits on public gatherings at 150.

Government, in general, is slow to react to emergencies, whether Dems or Republicans are running things. Let's be civil and tone down the political rhetoric. This is serious business we have here.

Since posting the original post, things are really deteriorating rapidly. It is very likely now that we will not be able to come to Ajijic in the near future, given the present travel circumstances. Bummer. We still have two months before our trip so we are taking a look and see approach.

CB's chart is very telling. The older you are, the more health issues you have and the the more likely you are of contracting corvid-19 and dying from it.

We hope all of you will be spared from a major epidemic of corvid-19.

Nearly 400 people have died in Italy from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. It would be interesting to know where they were on this statistical break down.

Mainly over 65 years of age.
