Rain

They are calling for rain this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. Lets keep our fingers crossed. I'm predicting an early rainy season. May 28.

Yeah usually but I think we determined that 3 solid rains in a row is the unofficial start of the yearly rains. I think this will occur in late May.

I truly hope you are right Bob. It just that I don't remember that ever happening lakeside since I've been here. Now I have to admit that sometimes I would head back to Seattle in late May and I may have missed it.

All we can do is hope :)

A couple of years ago one of the biggest rains of that season was on May 4th. It didn't rain much after that one until the usual time.

I forgot about that. It sure will be nice if those who are predicting an early rainy season are right and we get three heavy rains in May.

Pete these are not normal times , the Pandemic works in mysterious ways ...I for one will been happy to experience abnormal weather pattern and get out of the heat wave we have been experiencing

Yup. DUMPING in Riberas right now. So loud, I can't hear the tv... so I guess I'll watch the show tomorrow night... maybe.

The downpour came so fast my rain gutters were over flowing and my yard is flooded with at least four inches of water, my gardens will be thriving

I would say it started with the first one, like up north, winter starts with the first snow fall, even if it don´t snow again for a month.

A whopping 2.23 inches overnight in Ajijic Centro.

1.4 inches from midnight to midnight .36 inches midnight to now. IN SE SAT.

2.1 inches in Riberas

A shitload in Ajijic centro........lol.

South side (San Cristobal Zapotitlan) almost 2",,,started last night around 9pm. Best of all "cold" temps at night.

But I thought those were MC's rules and a bit off. About 1/2 inch of rain in El Chante last night.

I have no idea what his rule may be. I never talk with him.
