I notice two of my pages are fully secure. The first two that aren't have Google maps and a reservation calender imported onto them.

It generally is the links from an otherwise secure site, it would appear.

Hmmm whenever I click on the link, I get a porn website for pygmy dwarfs in Egypt. I can't view it well, my reading glasses prescription must be too weak.

Hi Bob - just checked and see the issue still with firefox. If you press the 'Advanced..' button on the warning page it tell you the reason why it's generating the Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN..

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for www.casadecomo.webs.com. The certificate is only valid for ssl581567.cloudflaressl.com.

Well its now shows a locked https on IE, Edge, Android and Amazon fire. I have no experience with Firefox. Perhaps computerguy can explain to me why it is a problem with Firefox.

sure, let see what computerguy thinks ..
- I also checked using Chrome and Edge browsers and see the same basic error/warning..
- looking at the cert details I can see the Common Name is set to ssl581567.cloudflaressl.com.

The warning message I'm getting is:
Your connection isn't private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.casadecomo.webs.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).
NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Computerguy checked yesterday and said it was all good now after I changed some links from http to https. Perhaps you are still viewing a cached version versus the new verison??? Got me.

A common reason for Certificate problems is that the date on the PC is incorrect. And a good check is exactly what Bob suggested: clear out your cookies., and make sure the address is typed correctly. Sometimes cutting and pasting adds invisible spaces.

Rotwein,

We had to cancel our trip and advise you to do so as well. Next year will present you with another opportunity. As far as I can tell, there will be no incoming flights from the U.S to Guadalajara. Volaris will be resuming flights to the US on July 7th, but that can change if the U.S. or Mexico extend the ban. With Mexico not reaching peak yet, extension of the ban is probably likely.

My flight to GDL on Delta was canceled, no refund, and the flight insurance is unlikely to refund it as well (act of God). So, if you want to book a flight, be prepared to lose your money if the ban is extended.

Plenty of flights from and to GDL and US destinations.  Not nearly as many as before, maybe not as convenient flight times, but certainly do-able.  We fly either United or American in and out of GDL and were doing so almost monthly for the past few years.  Both airlines have decreased # of daily flights from 3 or more each a day, to 1 or 2 a day.  Volaris is also flying to US, just saw live data for Volaris to Oakland and to LAX.

Go here to see LIVE flight data.  https://flightaware.com/live/airport/MMGL

Do all flights leave as scheduled or do some get cancelled....don't know as I am not ready to get on an airplane to anywhere yet.

I am late to the thread but I have been researching flights this week. Depending on where you are coming from, most flights are SCHEDULED to resume between Jul 2 to Aug 6. However, if the ban is extended, those resuming flights are out the window.

The ban is for non-essential travel. Essentials can still get in, but not by air that I can see.

Good news in my Delta Airlines battle, my flight insurance has approved a refund for my flight to GDL. That leaves my 7/2 flight to MIA on Volaris which will be canceled for sure.

There is NO ban on air travel for tourists between US and MEX.  Never was.

This is link to a snippet of ACTUAL flights out of GDL yesterday to US.  There are four on the first page alone, and this is just a single 6 hour period.  This site shows whether flights flew or were cancelled.  Gives actual departure and arrival times, not just what was scheduled. Will indicate if cancelled, too.

https://www.flightstats.com/v2/flight-tracker/departures/GDL/?year=2020&month=6&date=12&hour=12

Again, there is no ban or restrictions on those coming via AIR.  The restrictions for tourists were for LAND crossings ONLY.

https://mx.usembassy.gov/travel-restrictions-fact-sheet/

Q&A

Q:  What will this mean for airline travel and other travel across the border?

A:  This action does not apply to air, rail, or sea travel at this time, but does apply to commuter rail and ferry travel.
