Pet Allergies Empty Pet Allergies

Post by kiko Thu Jun 25, 2020 7:58 am

One of our dogs has had a tough time with allegries, dry skin, paw chewing, itching etc for many years. We usually put a few drops of salmon oil on their dry food and that seems to help. Now that I am out of the oil, I have substituted some smoked salmon that I purchased here, just a pinch is all you need if you have a small dog. Improved results thus far. Just thought I pass that along, Disclaimer: I am not a BOT.

Poor litle doggy. A friend, since moved, used to have the same problem, her cleaning lady from Tepejua, used a floor cleaning product supposed to disencourage scorpions. She bought an all natural " steam mop" and her, and her dog's problems were over.

For a small pup children’s Benadryl is good.  We give it to our Chucho.  Also we avoid people food.  For him not us.  🙂

CBD oil is also good for pet allergies. Google to your heart's content for references.

Uh, not for your dogs it isn't. Google is your friend. Here's ONE...
https://www.thelabradorsite.com/can-dogs-eat-salmon/

Can dogs eat smoked salmon?

So, if cooked salmon is okay, can dogs eat salmon when it’s smoked? No!

You should never give smoked salmon to your dog.

The reason for this is that smoked salmon is cured so contains an excessive amount of salt that is dangerous for dogs.

There is also a small chance that smoked salmon contains parasites which can result in a fatal condition in canines.

Salmon Oil is great.....except in the case of your dog being allergic to Salmon, which mine is. So Salmon Oil is a no-go for her. I am thankful that Bizzy's allergies are much better here in Mexico. As long as I watch what she eats we've been able to drop the medication.

My Yorkie is afraid today that the governor of Georgia Brian kemp may sue her for wearing a mask. I may need to delete that foto.
