Allergies??

Been bad for weeks but the jacarandas are killing me now!

Whatever stirs up my hay fever, it doesn’t seem to be the Jacarandas but I’m not out and about as much in previous years so it may be a culprit.

I've been here on and off since 1997. And every year, when the jacarandas bloom, I too, have a runny nose. My body is learning how to live with this allergy, but I still need a squirt or two of nose spray about once per day.

Oh well, at least, in my case, it's not that bad these days.

@ferret, never heard about eating pineapple, will try it.  I have tried local honey (both here and in US when we lived there), others swear by it, but it never did a thing for me.

@Mexico Pete, what sort of spray are you using and can you buy it here.  Used Flonase in US, but never seen it sold here.  I am using generic Claritin which works ok, until the jacarandas pop.  

Yesterday I took a Benadryl in the morning...I could barely stay awake during lunch!

I'm using AFRIN NoDrip . I brought it down with me from Seattle. I do not know whether this product is available here, lakeside or not

I was able to purchase Avamys Flurticasona at a Farmacia Similares. Helps me not react so much to the dust and Pollens.
