The State Police grabbed a bad guy today. From my reading he was found to have sufficient evidence to send him to the big house awaiting trial and was caught when they raided the place which wasn't today but the other week, right?

That's the way I read it. Keep in mind that the six gangsters arrested in Tala (including plaza jefe "El Chato") were only responsible for the kidnappings there and not the 18 murders here. Sounds like they may be closing in on the killers at last.

I couldn't tell from the article when they got him. Could you?

Didn't say in the article. My guess is that they caught him at the safehouse they busted in Rancho del Oro more than a week ago. At the town meeting last Wednesday, Chief Contreras said they were following leads developed from the three safehouses. Thought he said that two had been arrested at the house in Rancho del Oro.

At least with my clarification I opened with not wanting to appear a wise-ass...something you might consider doing.

Some people have nothing of substance or validity to add to the original topic but they feel an uncontrollable urge to contribute to the subject whether it be negative or positive. Other people just like to stir the pot just out of boredom.

So with this guy in jail do you think there will be retaliation on large scale?

I have been searching to find an article that I read the other day without success. But it appeared to indicate that the arrest (actually arrests) were made during the Rancho del Oro raid after which they indicated that no arrests were made. That detail could have been a misdirect of information so that they didn't lose the captives? Still haven't heard anything about the second arrested party.
