Old Immigrado Question
I'm just trying to plan ahead, which I really suspect is actually impossible.
If anyone received their Immigrado this year I would like to know what the monthly income requirements were. My FM2 is up for renewal in December and if I am to be able to go Immigrado then I need to start planning now. I know it will most likely be more than last year but at least I have a place to start.

Re: Old Immigrado Question
My question is not pertaining to the new law although I would love to know the exact monthly income needed. As no one knows the new stuff yet I'm trying to get a guesstimate. I possibly need to make a deposit in my bank by Friday.
My question what was the monthly income requirement under the old system.

Re: Old Immigrado Question
The 2012 minimum monthly income requirements for a single person, each dependent adds 50%.
No Inmigrante (FM3) = $15,583 Pesos
Inmigrante (FM2), = $24,932
No Inmigrante (FM3) = $15,583 Pesos
Inmigrante (FM2), = $24,932
Re: Old Immigrado Question
Almost but no cigar. I'm looking for the minimum monthly income, if any, for the old rules Immigrado. (not fm2/3)
Re: Old Immigrado Question

That's easy to achieve if you put a check for $ 2,000. USD into your account for 3 months prior to getting your FM 2 or FM 3.

Re: Old Immigrado Question
From what I understand the question is about Inmigrado not about FM2 or 3.

Re: Old Immigrado Question
There was no income requirement when we became inmigrados either. I guess after proving income requirements for 10 years on an FM3 and five years on an FM2, they figured we were obviously not going to be a burden to Mexico.
